22 Mile Dyes Inlet Loop Ride

This route is suitable for riders over 18 years of age with some experience sharing the road with automobiles. It starts at the Silverdale Waterfront Park, 3337 NW Byron Street, Silverdale. West Sound Cycling Club will offer route guidance out of Silverdale between the hours of 10 am and 11 am only.  Riders circumnavigate Dyes Inlet clockwise, visiting all points of interest on the other three rides.  You can find quick places to eat along the route in Bremerton by going to this link: Discover Bremerton Map

Conditioning sufficient for a ride of this length is required, as well as experience riding in light traffic, sometimes on roads without shoulders.  We've chosen what we feel is the safest and easiest route around Dyes Inlet -- but this is not a beginner ride.

You will return to Silverdale by way of NAD Marine Park and Chico Way. The route includes a visit to the restored Chico Creek Estuary.

NOTE: There is a ½ mile road construction section on Lebo Blvd. Riders will be offered an optional detour route up Sheridan and down Old Wheaton Way

Participation is free.  On the day of the ride, please register at one of the two start locations to sign a participation waiver.  We have learned we cannot accept online registrations.
