Tuesday Ride: Fox Island 3550

It’s only 35 miles but feels like 50.  Ride begins and ends at the Purdy Park n Ride (bathrooms sometimes available) Ride starts promptly at 1000am.  35.4 miles 3146 feet of elevation gain.  We’ll aim for back roads but still will have some traffic on the main arteries.  The route takes us out toward Rosedale with a stop at Kopachuck SP before heading onto Fox island.  We’ll do a coffee stop at the main community area before doing a loop around the island.  We won’t go down to the fishing pier this time instead we’ll stop at Demolay Sandspit park on the way off the island for lunch.  From there it’s mostly direct back to the park n ride.  Must RSVP so we know who is coming.  All bike types are welcome.  Please review the waiver before the ride.
