View Ridge Elementary School Safe Routes to School

The City of Bremerton is hosting an Open House on Tuesday, August 25, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, to provide information on this planned street improvement for Almira Drive. There are two project phases: one from the school north to Ivy road; and the next from Ivy road to Riddell Road. The project includes:

• A new shared-use path separated from the
  street for pedestrians and bicyclists;
• Sidewalk construction or reconstruction;
• Traffic calming and intersection
  improvements to improve safety for all users;
• Stormwater infrastructure improvements; and
• Street lighting improvements
